why Optimizing your site for mobile devices is beneficial

the use of mobile devices to search for contents in the internet is on it increase nowadays. this is evidence, as many persons today now own a GPRS enabled mobile phones. As smart phones now are gaining usage momentum from all corners of the earth, the growth is still in it high increase. Not until the latest and widely used mobile device was launched recently known as “Tablet” that triggers many individuals to go mobile full time. tablets mobile device have really made a lot of impart on peoples’ life,

many want to buy and use them for the purpose of searching for contents and making researches or visiting their favourite sites or blog on the internet. on-the-other-word, it has made many to follow another rout order than the desktop computer rout to visit the internet world, which is of our major interest on this post.

The big question is: why optimise your site for mobile device?

Well, for bloggers and web owners it is of great importance, because, it will enable them to gain more readers or audience, since major persons are now going online with their smart phones and tablet devices and searching for information online. Now if your weblog or web is not on mobile version but on desktop version, looking at the screen differences, smart phones and tablets are smaller compared with desktops, such, may not allow visitors to take a good look at your site for long. And it may cause such visitor(s) to want to leave. But if your site has it mobile version, visitors will not quickly take their leave, since it match with their screen size.

Now let take a close look at what statistics has shown as regards the use of mobile devices.

statistics has shown that, only in the U.S alone, the total number of U.S searchers for contents online are using mobile phones and it has grown to over 26% from between March 2012 and December 2012. And tablets is now rapidly on the increase as regards to it usage more than other smart phones. tablets has increased to 19% between April 2012 and December 2012. that is really a dramatic increase indeed.

However, desktop computers have dropped to about 6% between November 2011 and November 2012. (according to: search engine land).

Why then beneficial?

it is beneficial, because it will enable bloggers and web owner to easily monetize their blog or website and also gain a reasonable amount of traffics or readers, not only on the desktop platform but also on the mobile platform. it is as good as killing two birds with one stone. by gaining your source of income and traffics from both sides of the platform. so it is vital that you take your time to direct your blow to the mobile world, by optimising your site to mobile devices.
