Online Education - What is it?

Online education involves the ability for students to be taught by their teacher, through: video lecture, text, open forum, classes and by means of research works.
   Students are given the opportunities to enroll for a school, by applying for the school. If the school finds the student eligible, he/she will be admitted.
 In some online schools, students are also privilege to communicate with peers, from around the world. By sharing ideas and allowed to interact with each other in the school open forum.This is called peer-to-peer based learning model. In the open forums students are allowed to pose questions and answer questions in the forum. However, there teachers also monitors their conversation, in order to make corrections and to assist students in their assignments.
However, there are elements that make up a good online education. We are going to take a closer look at some elements that make up an online education. There are about eight in this article, which are listed bellow:

On this discus we are going to highlight them each one by one, and also discuss it benefits.
  •  Peer-to-peer based learning model
Peer to peer based learning model is the ability for students to share and exchange ideas with each other. It is the means in which peers interact and partake in the learning processes. It also fosters professional and personal growth, as students partake in posing and answering questions in the process along side with their teachers. As students learn from their teachers and also from their peers, such, enables them to be fully equipped academically. And also as students are allowed to pose questions and answer on the open forum, it will enable them to be more familiar with topics or subjects of discuss. However if students are unable to answer some questions pose in the forum, teachers can also assist by providing needed answers to the pose questions and emphasize on that topics or subject.

Benefits of peer-to-peer based learning
peer-to-peer based learning has benefits such as, increased retention ability, deeper understanding of new concepts and increased informal learning. It fosters both professional and personal growth, as teachers and students participate in the learning process at different interval. Peers partake and collaborate in assignments, test, exams and projects, under teachers supervision.
Fellow peers experiences can be maximize by regularly posing questions and absorbing correct answers given by teachers and also by peers.
