Apllying for Uopeople
Requirements
Before your application may be considered you are required to provide two things to the university. Which are:
1. Offline application and
2. Online application
Now on this article I will explain them bit by bit, in order for you to benefit from it.
Online application
In online application , an applicant is required to first of all apply by providing his/her necessary information such as: First name, last name,country/ place of resident, E-mail.
NOTE: your names should be the same with how it appears on your diploma/ transcript, in your High school, like wise your date of birth.
this requires that you should take your time to review your application and to ensure that there are no mistakes before proceeding with your application. Because when you submit your first step application you will not be able to edit it.
Now let focus on the second step application.the second step application has over eight faces which you need to submit before proceeding. The faces are easy to fill, so I will just flip to the personal statement on face four, which consist of essay writing. Here you are required to choose six essays out of eight to write. The essay should be within 70 - 100 words for each. I will advice that these essay should not be rushed, it should be carefully written in order to put smile on the faces of the admin department of the university.
Why I said so is that during the first step of your application, above the form you will notice the current date of your application and your deadline. Approximately you have about six months to complete your application. Now you have seen the reason why I said you need not to rush your essay writing. Yes just take your time, brain storm, make neccessary research, meet either your high school teacher or any mature relative or friend for assistance. Well that for the essay, next is the form and transcript, which am sure you are familiar with, so I will skip that. Next is the processing fees, that will be fully disused in our next article.
Now let briefly summaries the offline application.
Offline application
After completing your online registration, the next step you are to take is
the offline application, however,
you are also permitted to first start with the offline application before applying online. whichever
way you prefer depends on your choice. Let assume that you first
complete you online registration before the offline application.
Now the question is, What does the offline application involve?
Well it involves the submission of your documents, such as your Diploma and
Transcript to the university.
By What means?
The means in which these submission is to be done is by mailing directing to
the university. The process is as follows:
·
An Original diploma and transcript sent directly to the university OR
·
A photocopy of your original diploma and transcript. This document must be notarized by a public notary. OR by a ministry of education
·
Original diploma and transcript sent directly to the school by a ministry
of education.
Which ever method you prefer depends on your decision
The one I chose was option no.2 by making a photocopy of the original
document and notarizing it by a public notary.
When all this steps are taken in it order, then you are good to go. All you
need to do is to seat down and wait for their approval. Although your
completing this steps does not guarantee your being admitted to the university.
On my next article on this topic I
will explain what the school considers before accepting an applicant, just keep
reading my articles.
When you have finished both application process, you can log in to you
account to see your application status, it usually updates as soon as your
offline documents reached the university's office, you will also receive an
e-mail.
Even if you were not accepted by the university you can still reapply
without submitting your transcript and diploma, since the university still has
your documents with them.At this let me put a full stop.
Thank you for taking your time to go through this my article, on the next issue we will discourse about the processing fees.
