how to Google search by voice
Google search by voice helps users who speak faster than they type or who are not sure how to spell their search terms.
I’m sure that this is what all Google users has for years been expecting all this while, now Google has made this available. It’s as much as conversing with Google search engine directly and instructing it on what to do.
This new improvement is extremely good, since Google try to adapt in real time your queries. According to findings I have made so far, there hasn’t been any fault found for now. there are queries that are generally answered, such as, countries, Authors Names, Nations, cities etc.
How To implement The Voice Search
Before you can implement Voice Search you need to have the latest version of chrome Browser. If you already have it installed click on the menu button at the top right hand side of your browser, below the red close button, and select ‘About Google Chrome’ to check for updates. You can download if you do not have.
you need to make sure that your computer microphone is working perfectly well. Although some Laptops and desktops has inbuilt microphone, yet it is advisable to test, if it is working, because others requires an external one. Try to test your microphone in your computer audio settings.
Implementing the Voice Search
>>> Open your Chrome Browser and go to Google home page at :http://www.google.com/ you will notice a grey microphone on the
right hand side of the search box.
>>> Click on the microphone with you cursor and wait to see a large
red microphone icon appear, then you can start speaking.
you can press “Esc” to quit or the large red icon.
>>> Google will then interpret you voice search queries as if they where typed.
By default when you search by voice, the answer can be spoken to you. The answer could be sport score, whether, currency conversion etc. but you can turn this off by following the steps bellow:
1. Go to http://www.google.com/preferences
2. Go to ‘spoken Answers’ sections and click just Show Text to turn off the features. then click save…you are good to go.
