images
Lock Screen bug has become the new form of exploit by hackers. It began it first exploit on  iPhone 5, which is popularly known as “passcode bug”. This bug is seriously affecting mobile device with great momentum, starting from the iPhone to GS3, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and other Samsung Jelly beans 4.1.2 enabled devices.

However, despite this so called hackers exploiting technique of the “lock screen bug” in GS3 does not mean it has no bypassing solution.
In this tutorial, I am going to show you techniques you will use to overcome this overwhelming problem, although Samsung has not yet brought a proper solution to this bug, but this technique will be of help.

Below is a research I made while surfing through the net @ wonderhowto, from this research I am going to show you how to go about this in just a few easy steps.

How you can bypass the lock screen
let assume that you are a victim of the GS3 screen bug, and you find it difficult to operate and go to the main menu or to access your Apps of your GS3 or any other Samsung Jelly beans 4.1.2 enabled devices. Such kind of situation can really be  frustrating, you may thought of spending money for the repairs, but the good news is you can do it yourself, stress free at no cost. Here are the easy steps:

  • To bypass, from the lock screen tap the emergency call button
  • Try to dial any number you know that does not exist
  • Then press the green icon, an error message will come up, dismiss the error message
  • Finally, press the phone’s back button
  • The phone’s Apps screen will be slightly displayed, it is enough time for you to have fun with the Apps.
NOTE: Although the bug will still be there, this technique will only assist you to bypass the bug in a quicker approach. Some suggest using a different lock screen Apps for your device, I guess that’s also a good approach to it.

You can also prevent this from initially affecting your mobile device, by disabling your screen animations. You can do this by going to:
SETTINGS >> DEVELOPER OPTIONS>> WINDOW ANIMATION SCALE >> OFF.
