The improved Google Earth interface

Google for over the years have been working hard to improve their users experience with the use of Google Earth. Google Earth as we all know, is a graphical representation of the earth on a whole, it features continent, countries, as well as places. it also provides street view, which makes it easier for Google earth user to easily find their way.
Google has really improved Google Earth, “putting together a very graphic demonstration of how much can happen geographically with a new effort that combines global, annual Landsat satellite image composites with its Google Earth Engine software”.( According to: Darrell Etherington, (2013). retrieved from:techCrunch.)





This newly improved Google earth images are interactive,it images displays time lapses year by year as time goes by, which shows how things have really improved or changed just by viewing it on your screen without physically travelling to the region. Google worked with the U.S Geological survey, NASA and  TIME magazine to build the time lapse Google Earth Project, and went further to ally with Carnegie Mello University’s CREATE Lab to build the final HTML5 that makes the Google Earth interactive and user friendly. 
the exciting part of it is that you can vision current development in a particular country or region, such as seeing the building creep in Vegas, viewing the amazon forest in Brazil, or even taking a look at the Sahara Desert. This is a real development in this technological world we are in today.
Looking at the image above, you can see the Saudi Arabia irrigation, that a typical example of how real the Google earth has really developed into.

I have provided  you with some videos that will direct you on how you can use the Google earth. Like the above video describes the Historical imagery of some part of the earth, such as the Amazon forest, and the next provides the street view of Google earth, which is composed of a 3D make up. This in effect will enable Google Earth Users to easily locate a particular region of interest, without much stress.

I will advice that you take a moment of your time to go through those videos, they are short in length and will not take much of your time. they provide you with an overview of how the Google Earth looks like and provides basic information that will be of help to you in case you are a beginner, it also provides a wider knowledge for non - beginners.
